Daniel Ek – Spotify

 

Daniel Ek is the CEO and founder of Swedish start up Spotify. He has previously worked as CTO at Stardoll and Tradera. Daniel was also the founder and CEO of Swedish startup Advertigo, a contextual online advertising startup, which was acquired by TradeDoubler, in 2006.

 


 

Matt Biddulph - Dopplr

 

Matt Biddulph is the nomadic CTO of Dopplr, the social network for intelligent travellers. He started out in 1994 building search engines on CD-ROM, and now specialises in digital media, social software and putting data on the web. In past lives he was a creative technologist for hire, working with companies like Nature, Joost and the BBC to bring cutting-edge technologies into the mainstream.

 


 

Pascal Finette - Mozilla

 

Pascal is an entrepreneur, tech-enthusiast, open innovation evangelist and consultant.  He loves technology and believes that the Internet will deeply impact mankind.  He got started on the Net before there was a web browser, founded a couple of companies on the Internet, led eBay's developers program and consulted a bunch of entrepreneurs on their strategy and operations.  But most of all - he simply loves to do cool stuff on the Web and work with great people.  Pascal now heads up Mozilla Labs' work on building a global Open Innovation program.

 


David Filo – Co-founder of Yahoo!

 

David Filo, a native of Moss Bluff, La., co-created the Yahoo! Internet navigational guide in April 1994 with Jerry Yang and co-founded Yahoo! Inc. in April 1995. Filo serves as a key technologist, directing the technical operations behind the company's global network of Web properties. He is credited with helping build Yahoo! into the world's most highly trafficked Web site and one of the Internet's most recognized brands. Filo holds a B.S. degree in computer engineering from Tulane University and an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University. He is currently on a leave of absence from Stanford's electrical engineering Ph.D. program.

 


Tim O’Donoghue – VP Engineering, Yahoo! Europe

 

Tim is a software executive with nearly 20 years experience in software engineering and software product development; this experience has been gained in a broad range of industries and technical environments.

He is currently VP Engineering at Yahoo and leads Yahoo's engineering teams in Europe; he is also a member of the management team which runs Yahoo’s European business.

Prior to working in consumer internet with Yahoo, Tim worked in a broad range of businesses including: banking and financial services, enterprise software, speech recognition IVR solutions, embedded real-time applications and high-tech R&D.

 


Sophie Major – Yahoo! Developer Network

 

As Head of International for the Yahoo! Developer Network, Sophie leads teams around the globe to develop and promote Yahoo’s open strategy.

Sophie has worked in electronic media for more than a decade, covering everything from coding to enterprise programme management to co-founding an internet start-up.
